Yvette Graham, National President
Yvette is responsible for leading the organization and ensuring that its vision and mission are effectively realized through quantifiable objectives. For over 13 years, Yvette has held many leadership positions within BDPA, most recently President-Elect/ Vice President of Business Management for National BDPA. For the Chicago Chapter; she was the Director of Finance, Student Development, and the Professional Services Departments. She has also held the offices of Administrative Vice President, Executive Vice President, and the President of the Chicago Chapter. Before becoming the National President Elect of BDPA, Yvette served as the chairperson of the Election & Bylaws Committee, Internship Program and a BDPA Director on the BDPA Education Technology Foundation (BETF).
Yvette is currently employed with Allstate Insurance Company as the Director of the Project Development and Operations organization for the Claims Department. Yvette has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology, working in a number of positions from instructor, to application developer and quality control analyst. Over the last ten years, Yvette's career shifted from technical to leadership. She began as a front line manager and quickly elevated to Director of Enterprise Applications where she led teams that supported application development for Human Resources, Corporate Relations, Law & Regulations and Corporate Security. Yvette also led major enterprise implementation.
Yvette holds an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Illinois - Chicago 5/2003; and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Bradley University, 12/1983. She has also attended the Kellogg School of Management - Center for Executive Women’s Leadership Program.
When not working, Yvette enjoys golfing, bowling, and spending time with her husband Brian Keith Graham and their son Brandon McClain Graham, who attends Howard University in Washington D.C.
