Milt is a sought after motivational speaker, coach and mentor and has helped thousands advance their IT industry careers. In 2007, Milt founded Blacks Gone Geek a social networking initiative dedicated to promoting Blacks in Technology. Milt uses blogs, RSS feeds, Facebook, LinkedIn, Groupsite.com, Yahoogroups, Twitter and his web site, www.blacksgonegeek.org, to stay connected with an online community that has grown to over 10,000 IT professionals, executives and technology enthusiasts.
Milt is also the Chair of the PMI Chicagoland Executive Council and a member of ITSMF (IT Senior Management Forum). ITSMF is the only national organization dedicated exclusively to fostering upper-level executive talent among African-American IT professionals.
Milt holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Columbia University, New York, New York. Outside of his professional career, Milt spends his spare time enjoying family activities with his wife and beautiful 14-year-old twin daughters, and volunteering for BDPA, IT Senior Management Forum (ITSMF) and the PMI Chicagoland Executive Council.
