Epsilon Awards
Award Categories and Nomination Process

Think of the organizations or individuals you know—perhaps your employer, a colleague, or even yourself!—who have influenced the IT industry or community in some way.

Your nomination is the perfect way to recognize the impact of a company or an individual in front of their peers at BDPA's largest annual event!

The prestigious Epsilon Awards for the Top Companies for Blacks in Technology are presented annually during the National BDPA Technology Conference to top companies that promote a workplace and environment that supports the advancement of African-Americans in the Information Technology industry.

Each year, National BDPA surveys Fortune 1000 companies to make an assessment of their internal workplace and career development climate using the following rating categories: tenure/promotions, training, retention, supplier diversity and community outreach.

BDPA will also honor individual Epsilon winners in five categories: Most Promising Technologist, Professional Achievement, Career Achievement, and Community Service.

Award recipients will be recognized at BDPA's 37th annual National Technology Conference, August 18-21, 2015, in Washington, DC during the Founders Reception and Gala Dinner on Saturday, August 22*. All finalists will be notified of their nomination and are expected to attend the annual conference.
