How can I do my part to make BDPA 2015 successful?
Arm yourself with all the information that you can about this year’s conference. Attend a BDPA program meeting, ask BDPA officers questions, check our conference website often, and sign up for all BDPA communications.
What are this year's networking events?

We are currently working on the plans for our breaks, evening receptions, golf, and late night events. Keep an eye out for upcoming communications regarding our networking events and everything BDPA!.

What sessions and certifications will be available? 

We want you to get the most out of your conference experience and give you enough advance notice to identify which sessions will benefit you the most. Session and certification details will be located on the Agenda tab. Please check back regularly for the most current updates..

Can I check my email at the conference?

A cyber café will be set up near the conference registration desk for members to check email during conference hours.

Will session handouts be available?

In accordance with BDPA’s efforts to reduce its environmental and climatic impact, we will not be printing handouts for each session. Presentations will be available on the BDPA website.

What is Guidebook?

Guidebook is a conference guide app available for iPhones and Androids, in addition to a mobile web version for web-enabled devices like BlackBerries, available to conference attendees—completely free! View BDPA session information, maps, daily schedules, and more right from your smartphone or tablet. The BDPA 2015 guide will be available in July 2015

Is there a shuttle between the airport and the hotel?

Attendees will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the conference hotel. 

What is the dress code for the conference?

Attire is business casual for most events. Feel free to be comfortable in slacks, polo shirts, sweaters, blazers, blouses, and most importantly, comfortable shoes. 

The Digantaries Reception is business professional and the Gala is formal black tie.

I am bringing my family with me to Washington DC. Will there be activities for them to enjoy?

BDPA does not have specific activities designed for family members, but we do offer guest tickets for the Gala that takes place on Saturday evening, August 22. There is plenty to see and do in Washington, DC  Your hotel concierge can help you plan family activities and day trips during your stay.
