The Vice President of Business Management provides leadership for the following three Director positions in executing to the goals and objectives of each department:

 

Internal & External Support Department
Conference Administration
Special Interest Groups (SIG)

Internal & External Support Department

The Internal & External Support Department is responsible for managing and coordinating all business operations for BDPA Cincinnati Chapter. This Department’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following areas:
  • Policy/Procedures
  • Addresses Voice Mailbox Inquiries
  • Bylaws
  • External Auditing
  • Elections
  • Parliamentary Procedures
  • Legal Services
  • Insurance
  • Chapter Office Management

Conference Administration

Conference Administration is responsible to coordinate all matters relative to BDPA Cincinnati Chapter members attendance and support of major conferences including the annual National BDPA conference and any regional BDPA conference.

This mission is accomplished through the following resources, activities and programs:
  • Coordinate with National BDPA conference leader
  • Coordinate with local BDPA chapter members for availablity, timing, and cost of conference attendance
  • Manage BDPA online calendar for accuacy of relevant conference dates and deadlines
  • Effectively communicate relevant conference dates and deadlines
  • Work with the BETF Chair to secure funding for relevant conferences and requirements for BDPA members

Special Interest Groups (SIG)- Project Management and Entrepreneurial

 

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are established to facilitate and develop relationships between our membership, major institutions, the entrepreneurial and small business membership of the Cincinnati BDPA Chapter, and the BDPA Business Partner Community. This mission is accomplished through the following resources, activities and programs:

  • Offer entrepreneurial and project management workshops and seminars preparing our members, small business members to do business with BDPA Business Partners
  • Entrepreneurial database for BDPA Business Members or Partners
  • Establish contacts and liaisons within the major institutions for small business members.
  • Build and develop relationships within major institutions for student members interested in BDPA
  • Provide entrepreneurs and small business member’s access to BDPA Business Members: Preferred Vendors List, Small Business Programs and Small Business Funds
