Congratulations Greater Columbia HSCC and IT Showcase Students!!!!

I want to thank you all for supporting Greater Columbia BDPA through SCANA’s community initiatives. The conference was a huge success. Our students and instructors did an AWESOME job in representing the Greater Columbia chapter

Here is a recap of the awards and the High School Computer Competition team placement. A full write-up will be provided to IT-oLogy and posted to SCANA’s community site soon.

• Tyra Foulks won 1st place in the IT Showcase High School competition and recipient of the Johnson and Johnson IT Showcase scholarship award
• Brandi Taylor won 3rd place in the IT Showcase High School competition 
• Nathaniel Abraham, III received one of the top 3 Johnson and Johnson High School Computer Competition (HSCC) student scholarship award 
• Greater Columbia chapter High School Computer Competition (HSCC) team ranked 8th out of the 17 competing teams (Nathaniel Abraham,Tavaris Anderson,Anthony Coleman,Kevin Rabinovich) Instructors: Alex Rabinovich and Kelvin Robinson)
• 3rd place in the tee shirt competition-"Transforming the IT professional” ·
• Tyra Foulks and Brandi Taylor team won 3rd place in the Video Creation and Editing project
