New Challenges, introducing the Capital Region's top I.T. programs and strategic industrial triad in your community.
This year, BDPA's Advance Program Briefing for Industry (APBI) format features regional success stories and related career 
opportunities in Cyber, Help Desk Services, and IoE (the Internet of Everyhing) in a connected world. This workshop is open to the public. Pre-registration is requested.

► HSCC Track 9:30a - 3:00p 
Computer Science Building

The Regional High School Computer Competition (HSCC) will be conducted on campus at Bowie State University's Computer Science Building. Training for HSCC coders began in January and 
attracts  students interested in application, web, development . Each year, regional top coders advance  to the national scholarship round at National BDPA Technology Conferences.

► Industry Panel & Student APBi  10:30a - 11:20a - Theme: "Domain Knowledge"

This year, BDPA's Advance Planning Briefing for Interns (APBi) format features industry outlook for Cyber and I.T. in  2016 for internships, scholarships, resume preparation, and interviewing techniques. Sponsors and stakeholders share 2016 entry-level requirements, internship  forecasts, and resume preparation advice with BDPA Student Members and registered students from area high schools and colleges. This workshop features BDPA-proprietary information and is open to the publicParent and student pre-registrations are requested.

►  Regional IT Showcase & Networking Lunch 11:30a - 1:00p
New Student Union Building | Ball Room A

The Regional IT Showcase (ITSC) is an alternative outreach platform for college and high school students who may not write code or develop applications but are encouraged to embrace technology within their respective areas of interest. ITSC 
participants  conduct research, publish white papers, and present their posters to a panel of industry judges during BDPA's Regional and National Technology Conferences.
