 We seek an vibrant exchange of ideas as we talk about web technology, innovation, open source, share our knowledge and experience with one another. Tell us how technology is changing the world. Anyone … regardless of race or color … interested in tech is welcome! 

Our game plan is to collaborate on this monthly meet-up with Greg Greenlee (founder, Blacks In Technology, www.blacksintechnology.net).    The goals are simple and very focused on technology:

1.       Visibility of the Black tech 

a.       Providing ways to make Blacks in the technology field more visible to everyone

2.       Perception of the Black Tech

a.       Changing the perception that we are not just social media mavericks and that we are engineers as well

3.       Participation

a.       More participation from those of us who are in tech and those who want to be in tech

4.       Education

a.       Providing knowledge and information about the latest in technology

b.      Providing some form of mentorship

c.       Workshops

d.      Talks

e.      Podcasts

f.        Videos

5.       Solidarity

a.       Through community

b.      Through collaboration with other minority focused tech orgs
