BDPA Triangle will hold registration for area youth interested in enrolling in SITES Saturday Technology Academy on Saturday, April 14 at 10 AM. Location for registration & program - ITT Tech (Durham Campus) located at 3518 Westgate Drive, Suite 150, Durham, NC 27707. SITES is a challenging program that builds self-esteem through the mastery of applied computer science. Students in grades 9th through 12th who live in the Triangle area are eligible and encouraged to participate in the program.

Student Information Technology Education & Scholarships (SITES)



BDPA Triangle Chapter is launching its 4th year of the Student Information Technology Education & Scholarship (SITES) program, an intellectually challenging program that builds self-esteem through the mastery of applied computer science.  Students in grades 9th through 12th who live in the Triangle area are eligible to participate in the program.  The comprehensive program creates a foundation for student academic and career success.  We hope you will encourage students attending your school to participate. 


SITES is a nationally recognized program aimed at increasing the success of students who enter collegiate environments and technology-laden workplaces by exposing them to the rigors of work life through development of their Computer, Information and Internet Technology skills to solve business problems.  The SITES course is a comprehensive program lead by IT professionals, which provides students with the Internet technology skills essential in a global economy.  The 12-week (Saturday Academy) course includes course manual and web-based content, student performance tracking, hands-on-labs, instructor training and support, and focuses on current industry trends. In addition, scholarships are awarded each year.


BDPA Triangle SITES Saturday Academy begins April 14th and continues through June 30th.  Interested students will meet each Saturday at ITT Technical Institute, 3518 Westgate Drive, Suite 150, Durham, NC, from 10:00AM through 1:00PM.  Enrollment fee is $50.00 enrollment fee to participate in the program.  Scholarships and financial aid are available for eligible students who want to participate.  Students are expected to attend each class with a flash drive, notebook, pens and pencils.
