COMPUTER TRAINING and MENTORING PROGRAM (HSCTP) WANTS YOU!

 

The Greater Columbia BDPA is currently accepting applications for its 2015 High School Computer Training and Mentoring Program (HSCTP).  

The purpose of this program is to teach students the basics in application development, database structure, web design, project management, video creation, and more…

Classes will be held at the IT-oLogy Building located 1031 Gervais Street, Suite 200, Columbia SC on Saturdays 9:30am –11:30am from January 10, 2015 to June 27, 2015. 

  

The purpose of this program is to teach students the basics in application development, database structure, web design, project management and more…

 

Students will learn the following subjects:

WEB DEVELOPMENT (ASP.Net), PROGRAMMING (VB.Net) DATABASES (MySQL), JAVA SCRIPT, SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE, AGILE PROJECT MANAGEMENT METHODOLOGY ETC..

Program Fee: $65.00

 
REQUIREMENTS:

 

· Must be a rising 9th through rising 12th grader - 8th graders accepted based on availability

· Must be committed to attending all training sessions

· Must have a desire to learn and appreciate valuable skills

· Ability to work in a group with minimum supervision
