BDPA-DC is co-hosting a Tech Industry VIP Reception with The Maryland Center and the Executive Leadership Council honoring Bowie State University's new President, Dr. Aminta Breaux. Our event takes place in the Law Offices of Holland and Knight, LLP on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 5pm-7pm. This event is by invitation only. Every year, your Host Chapter supports CBCF/ALC events.

Your Host Chapter, BDPA-DC, is co-hosting a Tech Industry VIP Reception honoring Bowie State University's new President, Dr. Aminta Breaux. Our event takes place in the Law Offices of Holland and Knight, LLP on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 5pm-7pm.  This event is by invitation only.   • This year's VIP Reception Co-Hosts:
    • The Maryland Center (R&D Facility)
      The Maryland Center at Bowie State University is the educational nonprofit business unit dedicated to overcoming economic status and social settings. As an affiliated foundation of the University System of Maryland, the Center actively engages in and supports activities to further enhance the academic and service mission of Bowie State University. Their collaboration between The Maryland Center and the university works  to increase the University‚Äôs research and development (R&D) capacity just as "GTRI" captures multi-million dollar projects for "Georgia Tech."  

    • Executive Leadership Council (Fortune 500 Black CxO's)
      ELC understands our global pivot to software-defined ecosystems. Their mission is to increase the number of successful black executives, domestically and internationally, by adding value to their development, leadership and philanthropic endeavors, thereby strengthening their companies, organizations and communities across the lifecycle of their careers. Comprised of more than 600 current and former black CEOs, board members and senior executives at Fortune 1,000 and Global 500 companies, and entrepreneurs at top-tier firms, ELC works to build an inclusive business leadership pipeline that empowers global black leaders to make impactful contributions to the marketplace and the global communities they serve.

    • BDPA Washington/BDPA Baltimore (Defense, Intel, Cyber, Government Affairs, and Media)
      BDPA of Greater Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area (BDPA-DC) is an IRS 501(c)(3) tech-Inclusion not-for-profit organization (NPO) powered by National BDPA to advocate and close technology, multimedia, cyber, and application development (AppDev) gaps with local communities and HBCU/MIs across the National Capital Region (NCR). BDPA-DC publishes bdpatoday and produces programming with Popular Technology TV (PTTV) for  ICT industries and local BDPA Chapters.
