We are pleased to announce our annual BDPA IT Golf Classic is set for Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Lake Presidential Golf Club in Upper Marlboro, MD 20774. This year's golf classic is being held in conjunction with our Annual National BDPA Technology Conference.
The Annual BDPA IT Golf Classics raise funds for BDPA's Student Information Technology Education and Scholarship (SITES) Programs. Our SITES Program provides education and training to minority youth interested in the information technology industry. BDPA has a rich history of successfully reaching out to thousands of students through networking, educational programs, seminars, workshops regional and annual conferences.
From tee to green, participants in the BDPA IT Golf Classic will follow in the footsteps of golf’s greatest legends or create a legend of their own on the award winning course and world-class facilities of the Lake Presidential Golf Club.
After an inspiring day of golfing, players gather for the Golf Awards Luncheon, where participating golfers will be awarded prizes for their accomplished play.
This year's golf classic also will provide opportunities to build and nurture relationships with senior executives of corporations supporting the mission of BDPA. For executives, the BDPA Conference offers other industry and professional networking opportunities including our Plenary Sessions, Dignitaries Reception, Workshops, Seminars, Career Fairs, and the Annual Awards Gala.
